The Magic of Coconut Fiber Insulation
Coconut husk fibers are hollow and contain tons of tiny trapped air pockets, the same strategy that plastic foam insulation uses to reduce heat transfer. In fact, if you compare plastic foams and coconut fiber under a microscope, you’ll hardly see a difference.
We buy our husks directly from small-scale farmers in the Philippines, providing them with extra income for food, school fees, and community investment. We have upcycled 598,766 husks to date from over 100 farmers.
